Where can I buy tickets?

MJ the Musical is now playing at Melbourne’s Her Majesty’s Theatre. Ticketek is the only authorised ticket seller for MJ tickets at Her Majesty’s Theatre. Qtix is the authorised ticket seller for the Brisbane season, and Ticketmaster is the authorised ticket seller for the Perth season.

Additionally, tickets are available through travel package providers Helloworld and House of Travel New Zealand.

If you attend MJ with a ticket purchased via an unauthorised re-seller such as Viagogo, Ticketbis, eBay, Gumtree, Tickets Australia or otherwise, you may be refused entry to MJ.

How much are tickets?

Ticket prices for MJ vary by performance, seat location, and during peak periods such as public and school holidays.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

MJ gift vouchers for Melbourne performances are available from the Ticketek website here. The gift voucher is valid for redemption only for MJ the Musical performances at Melbourne’s Her Majesty’s Theatre. Redemption is subject to ticket availability.

MJ gift vouchers for Brisbane performances are available from the QPAC website here. The gift voucher is valid for redemption only for MJ the Musical performances at Brisbane’s Lyric Theatre QPAC. Redemption is subject to ticket availability.

MJ gift vouchers for Perth performances are available from the Ticketmaster website here. The gift voucher is valid for redemption only for MJ the Musical performances at Crown Theatre, Perth. Redemption is subject to ticket availability.

How many tickets can I buy?

The purchase of standard tickets is limited to 10 per transaction for Melbourne, 9 per transaction for Brisbane and 10 per transaction for Perth . All orders will be reviewed for duplicate accounts, bots, or other means being used to circumvent the standard ticket limit for each city. Fraudulent ticket orders may be cancelled without notice.

Why the limit? The ticket limit is in place to allow as many people as possible the opportunity to purchase tickets for MJ.

Group booking options are available for purchases for groups of 8 or more.

Can I get a refund on my tickets once I have purchased them?

As with all ticket purchases, we recommend that you check the dates and times of the performance you intend to purchase before completing your ticket checkout.

There are no refunds on tickets once they are purchased unless required by law. We do however understand plans may change, and have a flexible exchange policy available.

Can I exchange my tickets?

We understand that plans can change! The MJ the Musical exchange policy gives you the flexibility to exchange your tickets up to 7 days before your originally scheduled performance, subject to the Terms and Conditions below.

To exchange your tickets, please contact Ticketek in Melbourne, QPAC in Brisbane, or Ticketmaster in Perth.

Tickets may only be exchanged for performances within the same venue and season.
Exchanges must be made no later than 7 days prior to the start time of your original ticketed performance.
Only 1 exchange per event will be allowed.
A per ticket exchange fee of $10.00 applies to a maximum of $30.00 per exchange transaction.
Tickets may be exchanged for any other single performance on sale at time of exchange, subject to seat availability, blackout dates, sold-out performances and other restrictions. Exchanges may not be made for the same performance.
Exchanges will only be made for tickets purchased through the authorised ticket seller for the venue. Tickets purchased via third party providers are subject to their exchange policies, we recommend contacting them directly.
Exchanges will be valued at the original face value of the ticket purchased. Additional payments may apply if choosing a performance or price level that costs more than the original ticket value, or if original ticket value was from an originally discounted ticket into a performance with no discounts available.
New special offers or discounts may not be applied to exchanged tickets.
Exchanges may not be made to reduce the total number of tickets originally purchased.
For group sales, please contact your groups representative. This exchange policy does not apply to tickets purchased through the ticket agency groups department or ReGroup.
Upon exchange, original tickets will be voided and will not allow access into the performance. Customers must present newly issued tickets for entry into the performance.
Complimentary tickets and resold tickets are not eligible for exchange.
Other restrictions may apply. Exchange policy may change or be revoked without notice.
Refunds or exchanges will be not permitted for arriving late or missing the show due to changes in personal circumstances.

WHAT IF I DO NOT RECEIVE MY TICKETS 72 HOURS BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE?

Melbourne

If you cannot find or do not receive your mobile tickets as an email PDF, we recommend the following:

Log into your online My Ticketek account to access your mobile tickets and double-check to ensure all details are correct
Check the method you selected to receive your tickets.
If you are still having trouble, please see the Box Office before your performance. If you have any issues with your tickets, we recommend that you arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of the performance to avoid queues at the box office. Once the performance starts latecomers will be seated at the discretion of management at a suitable break in the performance.

Please note: no refunds are issued to patrons arriving late.

Lost or replacement tickets can only be obtained at the venue box office prior to the performance and will only be issued to the original ticket purchaser/My Ticketek account holder upon showing a valid ID.

Brisbane

Tickets will be supplied 10 days prior to the performance date.

Where tickets are lost, stolen, misplaced or destroyed, QTIX may require proof of identity and purchase, prior to issuing a replacement ticket.

Perth

Sign into your Ticketmaster Account to find and access your eTicket. There can be a delay in accessing your ticket, but it will be available before your event.

If you search MJ the Musical, you will likely find many re-sale sites advertising MJ the Musical tickets at prices higher than those on our official site. Be aware of what website you are on before you make any purchase.

WHAT IF A PERFORMANCE IS SOLD OUT?

Demand is high for MJ tickets and we recommend that customers book early for best availability. If the performance you wish to attend is sold out, we recommend the following:

Look further into the season for other performances.
Saturday matinees and evenings and Sunday matinees will be the performances that are highest in demand, so consider attending a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday evening performance.
Continue to check back on sold-out performances in the event additional seats get released.
Make sure you are signed up to the waitlist to receive information on ticket releases and new ticket blocks if they become available.
